A ready-made oval base for crochet and knitted bags, purses and baskets, in three sizes: 18 cm, 22 cm and 30 cm. The faux leather base has a neat stitched edge and a ring of pre-punched holes, so you can crochet or sew the body of your bag straight onto it without punching anything yourself. Four gold-tone studs on the underside lift the bag off the table and protect the base.
Work your first round through the holes, build up the sides, and add handles of your choice. Works well for handbags, pouches, totes and basket-style bags.
